Ordering

Do I need to register and set up an account?
No, you don’t need to. You can still purchase our products without setting up an account. However, we encourage you to do so you can be updated on the latest promotions and new arrivals.

How do I check international shipping fee?
Select the product you wish to purchase and proceed to the checkout. On the checkout page, the shipping fee will be shown (on the right) after you have entered the shipping address.

How do I know that my order has been submitted successfully?
After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that this does not mean that the order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to Coast Cycles to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance by sending you a separate email. The contract between you and Coast Cycles will be in effect only when we send you the dispatch confirmation.

How do I track my order?
An email will be sent to you with a tracking number and a link to DHL’s website. This will be done once your order has been dispatched.

How do I know if a product is in stock?
Products that are not in stock will be listed as “out of stocks”.

Can we come to the shop to collect our order?
Yes, you can. The days and times for collection are: Mondays to Fridays, between 9.00am and 6.00pm.

What if my purchase is damaged during delivery?
If you discover anything missing or damaged, you are to discontinue unpacking your goods and notify us by email to enquiries@coastcycles.com immediately, or at the latest within three days of delivery, failing which we shall not be liable for anything.

Can I return my purchase?
You are not to send your goods back to us unless you have received written instructions from us to do so. We shall not be liable for any costs incurred if you do not adhere to the aforementioned.

What is the warranty for the bicycles and components?

Is it possible to order just a frame or a frameset?
This is currently unavailable. However, do drop us an email if you have such a request.
Is it possible to request changes to the specs of the bicycles?

How can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order for any or all goods at any time up to the expiration of twenty-four (24) hours from the time you placed your order (regardless of whether you have received a dispatch confirmation). You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your order nor will you have to pay any penalty. To cancel your order, you must notify us in writing by e-mail to enquiries@coastcycles.com with the following details of your order: name, address, order number, date of order.Once we have sent you an email on the cancellation confirmation, the amount debited to Coast Cycles will be re-credited to your Paypal account as soon as possible or in any event, within thirty (30) days of the cancellation confirmation.

Delivery

What shipping company do you use?
We ship all our international orders via DHL.

Which countries do you ship to?
All countries DHL is able to ship to. Please refer to this link to view the countries: https://goo.gl/mCD3Zh

How are our bicycles packed and shipped?
Our bicycles are packed in sealed cardboard bicycle boxes. The dimensions and weight vary according to the model of the bicycle.

How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Your order will be dispatched within 3 to 5 working days after we have received it.

How long does it take for my order to reach me?
This will depend on the location on where the goods will be shipped to and the customs clearance. The average time is between 5 to 7 working days excluding Sundays and Public Holidays (country of origin and country of destination).

What payment methods do we have?

Buzzraw:

Which size is right for me?
The Buzzraw is “one size fits all”. It’s able to accommodate riders from 1.60m to 1.88m tall.

What is the weight?
The Buzzraw weighs 19.4 kg with slick tires and 19.1kg with knobby tires.

How many people can fit onto the Buzzraw?
The lounge seat measures 55cm long and it’s designed to carry up to two people.

What is the height of the seat (from the ground)?
Approximately 82cm.

How is the weight obtained?
The weight is measured without the box, pedals and accessories.

Are pedals included?
Yes. All Coast Cycles bicycles come with pedals.

Is it possible to change the parts that are fitted?
Normally, we do not entertain such requests. However, do drop us an email if you have such a request.

Is it possible to order just the frame or frameset?

Where can I test ride the Buzzraw?

How do I maintain the Buzzraw?
For normal cleaning, use cold or lukewarm water and a mild cleaning product. A squirt of dishwashing liquid gets the job done too. Solvents of any kind, as well as steam cleaning, must be avoided.

What is the weight limit of the front rack?
The front rack is able to carry a maximum load of 15kg.

Can the accessories be bought separately?

Buzzraw E250:

What is the top speed?
The electric assistance is provided up to 25km/h, after which you are on your own.

What is the range?
It will do 45km on a single charge.

What is the battery capacity?
This is a 36V, 450Wh lithium-ion battery.

What is the weight of the E250?
It will be 26kg including the battery.

Can the battery be removed from the bike?
Yes, it can be removed from the bike, but the battery is to be locked when on the bike, so you will need to use the keys provided.

Can the battery be charged on its own?
Yes, the charger connects directly to the battery, regardless of whether it is on or off the bike.

Is there a throttle on it?
This bike only provides pedal assistance, it does not come with a throttle.

Buzzraw E1000:

What is the top speed?
It will do 60km/h, but it is not limited.

What is the range?
It will do 50km on a single charge.

What is the battery capacity?
This is a 48V, 768Wh lithium-ion battery.

What is the weight of the E1000?
It will be 32kg including the battery.

Can the battery be removed from the bike?
Yes, it can be removed from the bike, but the battery is to be locked when on the bike, so you will need to use the keys provided.

Can the battery be charged on its own?
Yes, the charger connects directly to the battery, regardless of whether it is on or off the bike.

Is there a throttle on it?
Yes, a thumb throttle is included.

Quinn:

Which size is right for me?
The Quinn has an adjustable seatpost. It’s able to accommodate a rider up from 1.60m to 1.88m tall.

What is the weight of the Quinn?
It’s 13.3kg (Shimano Nexus 3 internal gear hub and Gates Carbon Drive).

What is the standover height?
It’s approximately at 74cm.

What are the dimensions of the central cargo cage?
It measures approximately 480mm x 85mm x 240mm. It can accommodate most messenger bags, laptops bags, and other similarly-sized bags and carriers.

How is the weight obtained?
The weight is measured without the box, pedals and accessories.

Are pedals included?
Yes. All Coast Cycles bicycles come with pedals.
