ORDERING
Do I need to register and setup an account to place an order?
No, you don’t need to. You can still purchase our products without setting up an account. However, we encourage you to do so you can be updated on the latest news and promotions.
How do I check international shipping fees?
Select the product you wish to purchase and proceed to the checkout. On the checkout page, the shipping fee will be shown after you have entered the shipping address.
How do I know that my order has been successfully placed?
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that this does not mean that the order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to Coast Cycles to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. The contract between you and Coast Cycles will be in effect only when your order is accepted by us.
How do I track my order?
An email will be sent to you with a tracking number. This will be done once your order has been dispatched.
How do I know if a product is in stock?
Products that are not in stock will be listed as “sold out”.
Can I come to the shop to collect my order?
Yes, you can. Please kindly notify us by email if you would like to self collect your order. We will inform you of the collection date when your order is ready for collection.

Can I use my own freight forwarder for delivery?
Yes, you can. Please kindly notify us by email if you would like to arrange your freight forwarder to collect your order.
What if my purchase is damaged during transit?
If you discover anything missing or damaged, please discontinue unpacking your goods and notify us by e-mail, with photographic or video evidence to: enquiries@coastcycles.com immediately, or at the latest, within three days of delivery; failing which Coast Cycles shall not be held liable on this issue.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order for any or all goods at any time within twenty-four (24) hours from the time that you have placed your order (regardless of whether you have received a dispatch confirmation). You do not need to give us any reason for a cancellation but there will be a 5% admin charge for all successfully placed orders.
To cancel your order, you must notify us in writing by e-mail to enquiries@coastcycles.com with the following details of your order: Name, Address, Order number and Date of order. Once we have sent you a cancellation confirmation via e-mail, the amount debited to Coast Cycles will be re-credited via your original payment method, within thirty (30) days of the cancellation confirmation.
Can I return my purchase?
You are not to send your goods back to us unless you have received written instructions from us to do so. Coast Cycles shall not be liable for any costs incurred if you do not adhere to the aforementioned.
To return your purchase, you must notify us in writing by e-mail to enquiries@coastcycles.com within 14 days from the received date.
Returned products will need to be unopened in their original packaging.
Can I request for a refund if I want to return my order after it has been dispatched?
For complete bike purchases, 50% of the purchase price excluding shipping and import fees, taxes and duties will be refunded upon approval.
For frame kits, accessories and components purchases, 85% of the purchase price excluding shipping and import fees, taxes and duties will be refunded upon approval.
Any additional costs incurred for the return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

What freight forwarder do you use?
We ship all our international orders via DHL/FedEx.
Which countries do you ship to?
How are our bicycles packed and shipped?
Our bicycles are packed in sealed cardboard bicycle boxes. The dimensions and weight vary according to the model of the bicycle.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Your order will be dispatched within 7 business days after we have received it.
How long does it take for my order to reach me?
This will depend on the items ordered and the location on where the goods will be shipped to and the customs clearance. The estimated time for complete bike orders is between 5 to 7 working days. The estimated time for a battery is between 15 to 21 working days.
